Here's an example of running out of time amidst a project like this. For BLUEBEARD, one of my favorite films of the year, I wanted to convey the spirit of the feminine that permeates this film in a way that previous versions of this tale lacked, but ended up having to just bang out a quick illustration. I at least got in the book and the red room, which is good enough for today. Definitely a demo.

I haven't seen this film, but my mind went immediately to Beyond Bluebeard's Castle, a text by George Steiner. I like the poster concept, I would brighten the red though, and deepen the darkness around the book. But, that's just me!
